Lyn WONG
Organisational Development Practitioner | Group Process Facilitator | Executive & Team Coach | Coaching Supervisor
Supporting leaders, teams and organisations to deepen awareness, strengthen relationships and navigate complexity towards meaningful change.
Hi, I’m Lyn — and I believe change begins with awareness.
For over 15 years, I’ve worked with leaders, teams and organisations to support their growth and development. Before moving into organisational development, I spent 13 years in the corporate world, where I experienced firsthand the complexities of organisational life, leadership and human relationships.
Over time, I’ve come to appreciate that meaningful change goes beyond acquiring new skills or finding better solutions. It begins with becoming more aware of ourselves, how we relate to others, the patterns we create and the systems of which we are a part.
As a Gestalt-trained and psychodynamically-informed OD practitioner, group process facilitator, executive and team coach, and certified coaching supervisor, I draw on multiple disciplines to help individuals and groups make sense of their experiences and discover new possibilities.
My practice spans the public, private and non-profit sectors, working with leaders and teams across diverse organisational contexts, both locally and internationally.
I’m deeply committed to my ongoing development, both in building my professional competencies and expanding my capacity as a practitioner. Over the years, I’ve invested in various professional certifications and learning experiences in organisational development, facilitation, coaching and supervision. These journeys, particularly my experiential learning in Gestalt and systems psychodynamics, have not only strengthened my practice but also challenged me to examine my assumptions, deepen my self-awareness and develop a greater capacity to stay with uncertainty and discomfort. They continue to shape how I show up, how I work with others and who I am becoming as a practitioner.
What I believe
Awareness creates choice. When we become more aware of ourselves, our relationships and the wider system, we expand our capacity to respond intentionally rather than react habitually.
Change begins with accepting what is. Meaningful change becomes possible when we acknowledge and work with our present reality, rather than rushing to become something different.
Leadership is relational and systemic. How we show up influences others, just as we are influenced by the relationships and systems around us.
Growth requires both support and challenge. People need spaces where they feel sufficiently supported to explore what is difficult and challenged to question assumptions and experiment with new possibilities.
Developing capacity matters as much as building capability. Beyond skills and competencies, we need the capacity to work with uncertainty, complexity, differences and the unexpected.
How I work with leaders and teams
My approach is relational, experiential and systemic.
Drawing on Gestalt, systems thinking, systems psychodynamics and group process approaches, I pay attention not only to what people say and do, but also to what may be happening beneath the surface — the unspoken assumptions, emotions and relational dynamics that influence how people work together.
I work with what emerges in the moment, staying curious and inviting individuals and groups to explore what they notice. Through reflective and experiential processes, I create spaces for authentic conversations, help surface patterns that may be outside people’s awareness, and support groups in navigating differences, strengthening relationships and developing shared understanding.
I see my role as creating the conditions for individuals and groups to deepen their awareness of themselves, their relationships and the wider system, make sense of their experiences and discover new possibilities for moving forward.
Equally important is my use of self. I believe that who I am and how I show up are as important as the tools and frameworks I bring.
What I’m known for
People who have worked with me often describe my approach as compassionate, perceptive and gently challenging.
I’m attentive to what happens beneath the surface of conversations, noticing patterns and dynamics that may not be immediately apparent. Where helpful, I bring these observations into the conversation, inviting others to explore what might be emerging.
I’m known for creating spaces where people feel comfortable opening up, even when conversations become difficult. At the same time, I’m willing to ask questions that challenge assumptions, invite different perspectives and encourage deeper reflection.
In group settings, I balance attention to the task and the process, helping people engage with differences, develop shared understanding and move towards meaningful outcomes.
Ultimately, I hope people leave our work together feeling heard, supported and challenged, with greater awareness, fresh perspectives and possibilities for action.

I’ve had the privilege of working with leaders, teams and organisations across the public, private and non-profit sectors, both locally and internationally. My work spans leadership and team development, organisational change, strategic facilitation and multi-stakeholder engagement, bringing me into contact with people from diverse backgrounds and organisational contexts.
Beyond client engagements, I’m involved in developing professional coaches as faculty with Collective Change Institute and Human Centric Coaching. I’m also actively engaged in local and international coaching, facilitation and OD communities, and learning communities in Gestalt organisational development, systems psychodynamics and group relations.
These communities are an important part of my ongoing development, offering opportunities to exchange perspectives, challenge assumptions and learn alongside fellow practitioners. They continually deepen my appreciation of the complexities of working with individuals, groups and organisational systems, while reminding me of the value of learning and growing together.
If we work together…
You can expect me to bring curiosity, compassion, presence and a willingness to engage with what emerges.
I’ll seek to understand your context, listen to what’s being said and what’s not being said, and work alongside you to explore what matters. Together, we’ll create space for reflection, honest conversations and fresh perspectives, while staying open to what might emerge along the way.
There may be moments of challenge, uncertainty and discomfort, alongside moments of discovery, connection and growth. I believe these are all part of the journey towards greater awareness and meaningful change.
Ultimately, my aspiration is to contribute towards authentic, connected, collaborative and joyful workplaces where people flourish.
